Behaviour’s Rémi Racine appointed CBC chair

Rémi Racine, president and executive producer of Montreal’s Behaviour Interactive, has been named chairperson of the CBC/Radio-Canada Board of Directors for a five-year term, as announced by the Honourable James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

“I am pleased that Mr. Racine has accepted to serve as Chairperson of the Board of Directors,” said Minister Moore in a statement. “His service as a member of this board for the last several years and extensive experience in business and administration will be of great benefit to CBC/Radio-Canada.”

Racine has been a board member since October 12, 2007, and also serves as chairperson of the board at Behaviour. His resume includes positions as chairman of the Montreal Board of Trade and president of Quebec’s provincial interactive trade association — and CIAIC member association — Alliance Numérique for three years. He is also a member of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) and the International Game Developers Association (IGDA).
